The Village Pastor Fund is designated to assist rural churches in their charge to care well for their pastors by assisting with:
- Funding to subsidize salary, pension, and insurance
- Care needs for pastors and families in order to prolong serving while maintaining health for marriage and family needs
- Expenses related to recruitment including travel expenses and orientation for pastoral candidates
